PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to the CAMERPRO mobile app, available on the Google Play Store. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this document.
1. Data controller

The CAMERPRO app is developed, operated, and maintained by:

TISCON owns the Google Play Store account through which the app is distributed and is responsible for processing personal data.

An operating license has been granted to our partner in Cameroon:

DIMASOA acts as a local licensee. TISCON remains solely responsible for managing privacy, data security, and regulatory compliance.

2.1 Visitor Data (Free Users)

For people who view the directory, we may collect:

  • Browsing data and usage logs (pages visited, session duration)
  • Technical information: device type, Android version, anonymized advertising ID
  • Approximate location data (country/city) via Google Maps, only if permission is granted
  • Terms entered in the search bar

2.2 Data from Subscribed Businesses and Professionals

Businesses and professionals wishing to be listed in the directory voluntarily provide:

  • Name of the company or professional
  • Industry and description of services
  • Business contact information: address, phone number, email, website
  • Geographic location (city, neighborhood in Cameroon)
  • Company logo and any images
  • Account information: email address, encrypted password

IMPORTANT: Information entered by businesses and professionals is publicly visible to all users of the app. Please make sure to enter only information that you wish to make public.

2.3 Payment Information

Subscription payment data is processed exclusively by our third-party service provider, MAVIANCE, via mobile money platforms (Orange Money, MTN Money). TISCON does not store your banking or mobile money information.

Your data is collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • Service provision: enabling users to search the directory and connect with professionals
  • Subscription Management: Processing Annual Subscriptions and Managing Company Profiles
  • App Improvement: Usage Analysis to Enhance the User Experience
  • Technical Support: Responding to Support Requests
  • Security: Fraud Prevention and Protection of Platform Integrity
  • Legal compliance: adherence to our legal obligations in France and Cameroon

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable in France, and Cameroonian Law No. 2010/012 on cybersecurity and cybercrime, the processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds:

  • Performance of the contract: processing necessary for the provision of the service (viewing, subscription)
  • Consent: for the collection of location data and marketing communications
  • Legitimate interest: to improve service and ensure platform security
  • Legal requirement: for the retention of certain accounting and tax records

We use the following third-party services in connection with the operation of the app:

5.1 Google Maps

CAMERPRO uses Google Maps for geolocation and to display businesses on a map. Google may collect location data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Access to your location requires your explicit consent.

5.2 Google Cloud (Notifications and Authentication)

We use Google Cloud services to:

  • Les notifications push via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
  • User authentication using Firebase Authentication

These services are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

5.3 MAVIANCE (Mobile Money Payments)

Annual subscriptions are paid through the MAVIANCE platform, which supports transactions via Orange Money and MTN Mobile Money. TISCON does not receive or store your login credentials or mobile money codes. We only receive confirmation of payment (amount, date, reference).

5.4 DIMASOA (Licensed Partner)

Our partner in Cameroon, Digital Market Solutions of Africa (DIMASOA), accesses data strictly for the commercial operation of the application, under the license granted by TISCON and in accordance with this policy.

We never sell your personal data to third parties. Any sharing of such data is governed by contractual agreements that guarantee confidentiality.

The profiles of subscribing businesses and professionals are publicly visible in the directory to all visitors to the app. This visibility is the very purpose of the subscription service.

Visitors can view these listings to contact the businesses or professionals listed.

    • Visitor data: up to 12 months, in anonymized or aggregated form
    • Business account data: subscription period + 3 years after the account is closed
    • Payment data (references): 10 years in accordance with accounting requirements
    • Security logs: 6 months

Once these time limits have expired, the data is deleted or permanently anonymized.

TISCON implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Password encryption (secure hashing)
  • Internal data access control
  • Monitoring and logging of system access

In the event of a data breach that could affect your rights, we undertake to notify you within the timeframes set forth in applicable regulations.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtaining a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification: correcting inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: Requesting the deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Right to restriction: limiting the processing of your data
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured format
  • Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdrawal of consent: at any time, for processing based on your consent

To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@tiscon.fr. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) in France: www.cnil.fr

The CAMERPRO app is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has used our app and provided data, please contact us immediately at dev@tiscon.fr.

TISCON reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. In the event of a substantial change, we will notify you via an in-app notification or by email (for registered accounts) at least 15 days before the changes take effect.

The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
